I think he is.....I dunno. Arkan, hmmm....I voted for "dislike" but now I'm not so sure I dislike him so much anymore. I mean, I kinda feel bad for him, he's so lonely. I don't like what he put Maerad through though.

I don't think he understands humans that well

btw probably wrong place to say this but did anyone else notice
that Inka-Reb and Arkan said the same thing about Maerad being a liar?

good point sirkana but i still dont know how maerad is a liar

What both of them meant basically was-''You're a liar because you don't know everything'' I think which is weird and it's not lying, just not knowing. Inka-Reb also said ''All humans are liars'', as if he wasn't human. Maybe he's part Elidhu-though probably not fully as he could handle the Treesong, though he did take a very Elidhu-ish view of it and said it was a blasphemy.
I wonder if Inka-Reb's carving of the Treesong will have to be destroyed if the Lyre and Tuning Fork are..and how it came about. Inka-Reb is very interesting character-I wonder if he'll turn up again. However this is the wrong place to discuss this-Is there an Inka-Reb thread somewhere? If not I might make one.

Personally, I love Arkan's character. And he's a git mostly, but there are times when he's just so loveable. I read the sample chapters for The Singing and Arkan pretty much saves Maerad from being crushed by the Landrost. I kind of like Arkan/Maerad as much as I like Cadvan/Maerad.

Ok.
*hides axe*

I hate him. Well, hate's a bit strong, but I REALLY dislike him. He annoys me, he's too powerful. I like powerful men, but that kind, sickens me.

Oh and he seperated M+C with that stupid thing I can't remember the name of.

Of course he's powerful, he's of the Elidhu. I do admit he comes off rather strongly, sometimes is obnoxious, but he has an appeal to him. I'm a big fanfiction writer so watch and see if any A/M fics come out =)

miko i totally agree.
M+A would be better than cadvan because they're both are (or have) elidhu. (is there a H in that??)
and arkan is just the damn best.
