I think hes a bit wierd, but i voted i liked him, partly for all the strange convesations Maerad had with him, partly for saving her from the landrost in the singing.

I always imagined Arkan looking something like Elrond from Lord of the Rings. Elrond as in Arwen's father, leader of Rivendell, played by Hugo weaving. I like him because he's so enigmatic. And I do sort of feel sorry for him because he was deserted by Maerad, even though he didn't really give her much of a choice.

Thumbs up for more Arkan in The Singing!!!

When i first saw the riddle cover, i thought it was Cadvan! I was like, 'whoa, they really buffed his image around'. :D Later i realized it was Arkan and felt really dumb.

*GASP* :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

He is not!! He's just misunderstood! And he's just had his lady love walk out on him so maybe he's suffering from depression. But there's no way he's evil. I mean, he even saves Maerad from the Landrost in the preview chapters of The Singing so there's no way he's evil.

Wait...was that sarcasm that I missed there? Oooops.. :rolleyes::o
