How did I get the Old English characters? I typed it in Microsoft Word, using the Insert menu, and then copy-pasted it into the reply window here.

If you want to use non-English characters, here's a list of a few in no particular order: Æ æ á é í ó ú Á É Í Ó Ú ñ Ñ ü Ü Ä Ç Ë Ï Ö Þ ç ä ë ï ð ö ø You can highlight the one you want and copy-paste it into your message. :)

I used a Welsh to English dictionary. The link is at the bottom. It's really cool.
Starlily, if you go to Word and while holding down your Alt key and using the numbers from you numeric keypad you can make all the characters. you start from 1 to 255 e.g Alt + 1 = ☺
