Hi estranghero
Sorry, but I don't understand your reply.
I was referring to my short story, EarthSale, which was posted on this site a couple of days ago. I'm looking for feedback on the story and would be happy to comment on other stories on a reciprocal basis (i.e. you lok at mine, I look at yours)
Cheers

Oh sorry, what I meant was that your story is on the sffworld.com site? http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/smile.gif

Hey hscope!

Finally found it. Hehehe it's a pretty good story. I found myself grinning at the right moments and you could almost turn the whole thing into a socio-religious rant against human cultural mores or something. You definitely got something there.

Since this is a constructive criticism forum, my only complaint is the B.L. Zeebub motivation. (Should I place a spoiler alert here?) It just doesn't fit with the whole tongue-in-cheek approach of your story. But aside from that, it's pretty well-done. http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/smile.gif

Anyway, keep on writing!

Hi estranghero
Thanks for the comments & glad you liked the story. I had hoped old Zeebub would bring his reputation along with him and this would gloss over the motivation aspect. I'd better take another look at it...
Many thanks again.

I enjoyed your tale! It was light and easy to read. From where did the storyline develop?

Cheers

Hi Cedric
Thanks for your message. I think the original idea stemmed from the fate of the dinosaurs. I thought maybe they didn't die out, but instead were taken away. I can't explain how the rest of it came about. I must have been in a very receptive frame of mind and all these interesting ideas popped into my head.
Also, many years ago I rebelled against (and was quite bitter about) my Catholic upbringing and this was a chance to stir the pot!
Cheers
