Hobbit's starter for 10 - from the season 2 of Battlestar Galactica, who's this?

(Clue: was famous for the starring role in another Fantasy series in the 1990's).

It's Lucy Lawless, her who was Xena, now with blonde hair, in the eighth episode of the new series. Not sure I like the blonde look myself...

Anybody get it right?

Sorry... I'm ashamed to say I missed it. :(

...and I thought I was a huge fan of hers!

I should also say that I didn't get it right, either.... ;)

She made a cameo in Spider-man as well, I think she's married to Sam Raimi. I actually like the Blonde look myself.

Yes, I knew that one, Fitz.

Actually she is married to Robert G. Tapert, who was a producer on Xena, and also the producer of The Evil Dead - hence the Sam Raimi connection!

Still not sure of the new look...

I thought she looked remarkably familiar but didn't get it at all. So she is in season 2 of BattleStar Galactica? I got Season 1 for my birthday and loved it. can't wait for 2!

The funny thing is I don't really like blondes, I'm a sucker for brunettes.. but I thought she looked much better as a blonde!

I got season one on dvd too - and the film. I'm a big fan!!!

Anyone to add anymore to this thread? Maybe really obscure people in other films??

OK.... slightly easier and a lot older this one, so three levels of response:

a) Who is it? (Clue: He is the creator, presenter and writer for one of the most influential American television SF/Fantasy/horror shows of the 1950's and 1960's.)
b) Which TV programme is he shown here involved in?
c) What film connects this person to Charlton Heston?

Some will get this one straight away, I think. The first part definitely.

Part 1 answer: Rod Serling, creator of The Twilight Zone

Part 2 answer:
Sort of a Trick Answer. Not The Twilight Zone, but The Night Gallery, a later series from 1969 - 1973. Three seasons.

Part 3 answer:
Planet of the Apes (1968). Heston was the main star, Taylor; Serling wrote the screenplay based on the book by Pierre Boulle.

How did you do?
