I've got to hurry and post this. stupid parents!! :p

I think the books have gotten better as they go along, I think it's because the characters are being described and growing too. I personally like to see stronger characters and as the books go along Alison is showing just that. :)
Plus, the Crow was something a bit different. :D

I think the Riddle was the better of the three for me! It was a very emotional book and i think this created a much stronger bond between the characters and the readers. Mearad went through such alot its hard not to admire her.
I loved the gift, but there was something about the riddle that did it for me....

agreed 100%... i think also the riddle introduced some much more complex ideas about life and about a persons emotions than the gift especially. The gift is a story a-z, and although of course theres all the characterisation etc etc, for me it still seems like the focus is on the plot. I enjoyed both the riddle and the crow more, because i felt like a lot more went into creating layers in the characters, in the world, and in the situations. they just seemed of a deeper complexity - i find that appealing.

On the crow... i loved that it was from hems pov. Clever, imaginative, an awsome way to extend the bounds of the reality created in the world of Annar.

awww shucks... man i kinda love em all to bits!:p

Well, it was REALLY hard to decide  , but I'd have to say the Gift. I just really love how you can see the transformation Maerad goes through from being a haunted, malnourished slave to a bard. lol, AND Cadvan is in it 100%!!!!! :D

I love them all but I like the riddle the best...i was a tad bit angry b/c we dont have any maerad or cadvan in the crow..so i knew i would have to wait forever to find out more..but i did like hems pov
