And yes people are making off with anything they can get their hands on; everything from nappies and face cream to BMW bikes and state of the art steering wheels and wines. It is the worst form of stealing in my opinion..what has washed up onshore actually belongs to someone; someone who has paid not only for the product, but also for it to be shipped. And to watch locals just making off with something that you own, without even showing the smallest scrap of guilt..tsk

i'm mad about that too SS!!:eek: it's so harsh that people are queueing up to steal things then selling them! and that oil spill looked really bad!:( bad thing is that Branscombe's only one bay away from where i go in the summer to this festival, no swimming this year i guess
