anyhoooo, i'm hoping to get into the Photojournalism course at Griffith, it needs an OP of aroung 5-6 but i thought i'd play it safe an aim higher than 5 :rolleyes:, just in case.

Anyways, Photo Journalism sounds really good. I wanted to do Journalism but was talked out of it so now im thinking of going down to Macquarie in Sydney to study Ancient History. Everyone is saying that Griffith is bad, but I dont know why! What campus are you going to study at? I heard if you live on the Coast your OP automatically gets one higher.

I want to go to Queensland College of Art ie South Bank Campus. I don't know about OP being one higher, do you mean along the coast in general or the Gold Coast? I live on the Sunshine Coast, which is about 2 hours north of Goldie for those of you who didn't know :D.

Id love to go to the Art college! I dont think im that good though. Have you been to the gallery lately? Fiona Hall has an exhibit there, it is really fascinating!

OMG yes! I went to the art gallery a couple of weeks ago. I just loved the writing along the wall by Fiona Hall and the video tapes made into scupltures. Did you see the Pregnant Woman? I forget the guys name... but how good is it, it's so creepy standing in that room with her, you sort of fell like she is going to open her eyes at any moment hey?
That's another thing, everyone in my art class is speculating over who will win the ministers this year, it's funny how this time it's someone in my class.

No i didn't see the mouse thing. Umm, how do i describe it, you know the optical illusion one? the box painted in different colours and when you looked through the camera you saw the illusion, that was from my school.

umm. . . . . . skool is driving me nuts and some1 mentioned Cane toads so now i get to have my lil whinge.

our lit teacher has ditched us . . . not that we mind much but still not the point. no1 liked her but she nicked off the end of last term dumping on us 2 major assessments and only a few weeks before exams and we dont hav a replacement teacher which really stinks. as u can tell im refraining my wording here trying to be as polite as i can!!!! :mad: :mad: but the cane toad went anad left us!!!! right b4 mid yr exams!! i mean to leave yr11 is just rude but i mean how do the yr 12's feel?!?!? :mad:

now thats off my chest i'll return to my mightily big part of Australia!! WA!!!! yar!!!! go WA!!! but hey i'm on my own out here!!! on da otherside of da continent!! oh well better return to doin darn homework for none other than English Lit!!! ARGH!!!! :mad:
