Okay this will sound odd but in Australia or anywhere else other than the uk is christmas (If celebrated) in the summer or is it still in the winter?

I love the actual Christmas, like Jesus' birth but the time of year I hate. everything is hecktic, you get of for 2 weeks and then expecte you to write exams. And for FP' question, In canada it's definately winter:( The snow is 1' and 1/2' (where I live, not all over) deep and the tempertature is too cold.
