wow! tari your novella is fantastic and i'm not just saying that to be nice!!!
i havent read something that good for ages you have re-emerged my love for deep, dark writing!
i honestly think that you will not have the slightest problem getting it published if i could i would buy it now!
thanks for letting me read it tari its really made my day! :D
thanks Helen. it's my first attempt at horror writing and it's my favourite baby so far so it's precious but incomplete at the moment. Sorry i only posted the adress for the site forum not the actual thread my bad.
anyway i'm glad you enjoyed it.
I read the first bit and it seem real good........unlike mine......I really need some help and ideas for mine, it a good hobby but I really would like to get a book published... ..............not that thatll ever happen like....
K Becks i could slap you right now but u aren't here so i can't. i have so many pieces on unfinished work bcoz i get bored with it and start something else. this is the first piece thats gotten anywhere serious. anywayz the best piece of advice i can give is to just put your story aside and work on something small, poetry or something like that or begin something new, write in depth character analysis of your characters get to "hear their voices" so to speak. you'll come up with something it works every time.
Don't sday you'll never get published because fate works in mystreious ways and it's just a hobby, a bit of fun really and publication is not everything. it's actually harder to write the story than it is to publish it.
i wanna get a book published one day, i have the storyline for my book but whenever i write it it seems really boring! i keep wanting to skip to the interesting bits!!!
Helen just write the bits you want to write. you dont need to write start to finish. my friend is currently writing her first novella and she has writen several scenes, major events that she knows every detail for and is now filling in the rest. i know most of my stuff is extracts and scattered bits and pieces and needs filling in. Take Innocent Evil (the one you read) it's developed from a piece i wrote at a workshop (the scene of Mary's transition into the beast/demon thingy) and it's three quaters into the story before i get it out. just write what you want and fil in the rest later. you'll find a way.
Anywayz i am tired and i have essay to do tomorrow so i need sleep. Goodnight all. (once again i realise no one is here.)

P.S. how are your exams goin Gem? *hugs*
