actually talking about posting at school does anyone know where i can find a sffworld proxy? we have laptops but the school tekies put some sort of teky spell on it that stops us going on forums, myspace, bebo, msn game sites and all that crwap. including sff world. (fortunately they dont seem to have put a spell on them regarding facebook) so if anyone knows how to find a proxy fr sffworld forums then i woud love you 4 eva!!! :D:D:p:D:D

Don't use the Google search engine
Type in www.sffworld.com/forums in the address bar
Type what you want into a search engine 3 times

I have so much work to cram into the end of the year, it is crazy! Our teachers seem to think that since the end of the year is close, they should try to pack as much as possible into the remaining weeks. I have more to do by Monday than I could feasibly do in an entire year!

wow.
that's hard. i hate when teachers try to cram a load of work onto you at the end of the year. my geography teacher is like that. our test is on thursday the 12th, and we still have an entire topic to complete. she's making no effort to teach us though. you'll walk into class, and she'll go "i have a story that is related to the topic of development." so we all settle down thinking it'll help us in the test. but all we get is this:
"when i got home, my son connor was lazing about. and i told him to get up and revise cause he has a geography test in a week. and he said to me it's next week. i'll be fine. and i told him to get up those stairs right now and learn something. and there you go - my anger developed."

honestly. but if we utter one word she takes a fit, saying how we have to get this course done, even though it's her fault in the first place because she spent so much time changing coursework that didn't need to be changed.

Stressed and exhausted. I got only like 4 hours of sleep one night this week because I did homework until past midnight and woke up at 4:30 am to do more. Fun, no?:rolleyes:

I would never have guessed you were 13, Icelands. I always thought you were at least 15 or 16 until a couple months ago when you mentioned your age somewhere. But I was shocked. My little sister is 13, and she is... typical, I suppose is the kindest word...:rolleyes:
