Newbie here!
I just found and joined this forum. Great ain't it? I have been looking for a place to dicuss this wonderful series for a long time and now I've finally found it! Yay!
It's also really nice to see the author, Alison Croggon, so involved with the fans in this forum. You don't get that very often, so it's a real pleasure and honour having her around.
Oh, about me, right, yeah. Well I first found the book when I was looking for something to read. My friend read it first and then recommended it to me afterwards. Needless to say, we were both hooked and many lunch time conversations consisted of much squeeing and eeing.
Am now patiently waiting for the next installment ...

HEY LOLA!~ I'm a newbie myself, really. I found this site, what, 3 hours ago and now, like everyone else here, am waiting for "The Crow" which comes out NEXT YEAR (don't think I can wait that long so I've read the first four chapters of it I found on Ali's website. And sorry if you don't like the nickname, Alison, but I'm incredibly lazy when it comes to names.)

WHAT'S WITH THE SPACES???

What makes you think that I would think that that you would cry just because you're a girl? And what makes you think that I'M not a girl. I was born female, thank you very much, and I still am last time I checked. Not that I have to check that I'm female or anything ... Oh I give up.

Anyway, crying's not a bad thing. Sometimes. I think guys should cry more, definitely.

By the way, does anyone know what to do when your teacher cries in front of the class? As in every second lesson? Some people laugh but I'd just squirm in my seat very uncomfortably or just stare at my books and pretend I didn't hear the teacher just sniff/snort loudly. Hmmmmm ... :(
