Sounds fun, but then again it would just be another excuse to convince my parents to take me to Universal Studios. They have something against spending thousands of dollars on plane tickets etc. just to go to a theme park :rolleyes: xD

But that said, my dad said he is planning to go to Japan maybe next year to meet up with a Japanese diving buddy of his and maybe the family could come as well...:D

And maybe i could pick up some authentic manga or a cheap anime set, dude they cost so much at AnimeMania (Yearly convention for anime and manga =3 Of which i plan to kosplay in next year)

As long as that happens, i am non-fussed about Universal Studios :p

Seriously, Japan is my #1 place I want to go to, ever. But we don't have that much money right now...And about anime/manga, my parents have something against it :mad:. It's not like manga's the only thing I read, and they're really different from Western comics...they actually have MEANING...

I'm planning to cosplay as Evangeline A K McDowell next year :D. My hair's about the right colour, and I can act her perfectly. All I have to do is occasionally act scary, and insult everyone all the time. :p Easy. Plus, it would be so fun if someone happened to cosplay Negi and crossed paths with me. :D I can just imagine it...:rolleyes: "Chachamaru, go get him! Oh, Chachamaru isn't here..." "Partner: Kagaruzaka Asuna, Conract Activate For 180 Seconds!" :rolleyes:

And she wears a witch's hat. Witch's hats are just too cool...

Western comics really should bow down to manga, not only is manga full of meaning, it is better drawn, has better characters and actually has emotion.

Beforehand, i had my heart set on kosplaying Hitsugaya from Bleach (Just because he so small and cute and has an awesome Ice Bankai). Yup, I know he is a guy but i cross-gender kosplay if i want!! ;)
But now that i have started to watch Negi...I think i might want to cosplay one character from there...or negi himself :D
And then maybe Nana from Elfen Lied...

i love how in manga you can pass really stupid things off as normal :D

i remember reading this one where this girl could actually take her little anger spirits (you know how in cartoons and stuff, the angel pops up over one shoulder and the devil over the other) and throw it at people and they would actually feel it. priceless moment :D

o, and cosplaying is like dressing up as a manga character, usually really "out there" if you know what i mean... and they have conventions for cosplayers...

And about the cosplay, hmmm, sounds interesting. I'm Asian so I could maybe use that to my advantage?

...eh, well everyone's white in manga anyway so then again, probably not. It's stupid how everyone thinks that Hollywood is the standard of beauty WORLDwide. I mean, a non caucasian person has to look slightly caucasian for them to be considered, by most people at least, attractive.

Look at her eyes! They're huge. And her face isn't flat at all. Yes, she's really pretty, it's just depressing for someone like me :P

Also most black women aren't considered attractive unless their skin is a lighter shade. Which is also very dumb.
