Hi Lola and soul_elements - good to see you here! (Ali's fine, ;) though strangely not a lot of people call me that)

I feel impatient for The Crow too. Though I need the breathing spaace before I get on to writing The Singing! Believe it or not, these books gives me eczma (yes, I suffer :D )

I reckon George Lucas has lost it. I liked the first three SW, like most people, but the last two - forget it! Well, I played a fair bit of Podracer on Nintendo, but that was the best thing about it. I'll probably go and see Revenge of the Sith, all the same, sucker that I am. And I loved Crow, btw - haven't seen Runaway Bride, and probably won't...

Normally it's just me ranting on and on and on and on in emails to authors who sometimes reply but once they realise that I MIGHT be on pot (which I'm not, just for the record) they mysteriously disappear. Hmmm... Ooops, distracted again. What was I saying? Can't remember. Oh, I'm supposed to be doing Chemistry, that's right.

BTW: Does anyone know when the next Obernewtyn book is coming out? I've been waiting for years. Literally.

And Ali, I agree with you that the last two SW have been a bit of a disappointment but this is the last one and I want to see how he justifies himself here ... Lucas, I mean, not Anakin/Darth Vader. Nice to know that SOMEONE finds my insanity entertaining. It's fun to be insane. CORRECTION: It's fun to claim that I'm insane. We all know that, ironically, insane people do not realise they are so whereas sane (or half-sane) people only insist on calling themselves insane in the false hope that it will make them slightly more interesting and not dead-boring (as I fear I might be. Hell, who am I kidding? I AM BORING.) Oh well.

I'd really better go now. Homework and all (*groan*).

Just wondering if anyone knows anything about water chemistry and the nitrogen cycle, phosphorus cycle and metal contamination in the water? ANYONE? I am so desperate.... (CURRENTLY IN SELF-PITY MODE. WILL GET OUT OF IT IN, OH, 50 YEARS TIME OR SO WHEN I'M TOO PITIFUL TO WANT SELF-PITY) :(
