I get up between 5 and 6 am because I have an hour long bus ride before I even get to my school...
question... Have any of you competed in a science fair???

I can honestly say I've never been part of a science fair, even in elementary school.

my head teacher seems alright compared to yours waahoo. she's usually fine butthe only downside is she doesn't seem to be able to give a short speech. whenever she starts at an event or whatever, everyone gets comfy 'cos they know they're gonna be there for a while.and i have an interview with her tomorrow about my gcse choices, joy of joys.
waahoo!

sounds like it sucks...wat skool do you go to?ive nvr heard of a skool tht didnt let its kids go into the hallways before skool...is it like 5a or something?
actually semester exams are like my favorite part of the year cuz we can exempt and leave skool during the testing time:Dits pretty awsom cuz me and my friends meet at someones house and hangout all day
A small town school in Texas, not saying which :D! No, we're not aloud in the school before 7:30, and we can't go in the hallways before 8:45. (that's when school starts) But the small schools are often more disciplined than the larger schools, because there are less of us! There are only 500 or so in our high school, the freshman class being the largest! :)
We don't get to exempt, only seniors do! If you haven't missed any school and you're a senior you get to be exempt and leave. Grrrrr....
And I've been in the science fair! 6th grade! 2ND place! Oh yeah.
My friend used to be homeschooled, she hated it. She didn't have anyone to talk to except her teachers, couldn't do band, or anything. So when she came back to school, she was finally happy :D

Hmm...that's interesting. I'm sure if she really wanted to, she could've been around more people...then again, if she didn't have a license that could be hard. I love being homeschooled- I still talk to all of my friends, I still see them, and yet I get to learn at a faster pace and don't have to be bogged down by people who don't understand. Another plus side is that I still get to march with my friends in June!

Her parents are SOOOO over protective. They NEVER let her go out. She's ALWAYS grounded. It's pathetic. So when she was homeschooled, her parents didn't let them do ANYTHING. And she was home schooled from 4th to 6th grade, so she didn't really have any great friends that she could be with, and she wasn't old enough.
March? Whaddya mean?

Graduation...marching is well, the march you do when you enter the room xD
haha that's the best way I can explain it. Some parents are overprotective...it sounds it in this case, but I'm sure they just wanted the best for her, even if they were actually doing the opposite...
