I would still love to beta, though be aware that it'd be my first time so I might mess up. Though I certainly hope not, for your sake, my sake, and most of all, Dernhil's sake. ;)
My brain is on strike after doing homework for two hours after a full day of school and having to function on six hours of sleep. In short, you're not alone.

I want to read the dernhil story!!! You guys have made me love him more than cadvan :D *hides from cadvan lovers*
6 hours of sleep? Wow. That really stinks! I've gone to sleep at 11-12 for the whole week and I wake up at 7 lol. So I am really tired in the morning (i have biology in the morning, yesterday I fell asleep in the class, one of my guy friends threw a pencil at me...lol) But I had a giant COFFEE muffin this morning, so I was like hyper in biology while we were finding the identifying characteristics of the kingdoms protista, animalia, bacteria, plantae, and fungi lol.
*looks around and sees everyone asleep*

Ooh ooh!!!!! *raises hand* where where??????
Me want to read it....NOW!
*runs off to find it*
Edit: Guess what guess what???? I had winter drumline practice (i play piano :D) today.... AND our percussion instructer (who doesn't help much with the rest of the band) is getting involved in our marching show and everything much more next school year. And he is a really strict and AWESOME! (the band is really really unruly, we don't listen to our director because he's so nice...) And it's gonna be SO MUCH BETTER, and we are going to be INSANE!!! I'm excited :D our show is probably gonna be something by beetoven.
I guess I'm the only one who's crazy about this stuff :)

Nope, I'm a band nerd too, I'm just in middle school still and two years away from marching. ( we are military marching, what kind of marching do you do?)

I'm a theatre geek. So I - partially - understand you band nerds :D
We just finished my school's musical, Annie, and now I'm all depressed. But this does mean that I now have more time to write...it's such a give and take situation.

We do standard marching (i think that's what it's called) but I've seen a military marching band. Looks very awesome, but I like standard marching because of the visuals and formations we make. I was admitted into marching band in 8th grade, because we have a small school, and they had no trumpets, so they let in 3 eighth graders, and I am second chair and another girl is 1st.
I'm too nervous to act in front of people (which is weird, cuz I was the soloist for our show!!! lol) but is theater fun? I doubt I'll do it, cuz acting isn't really my forte... I've seen that movie :D But I feel the same way when marching season ends, I have so much more free time lol. And it's sad :(
