I hope your mom gets better soon, Icelands!
I have been, today, reflecting on the sadness of my state here. (I know that didn't make sense, I shall explain!)
I realized today that I do not know anyone who is seriously into fantasy. I have no one to obsess with about fantasy books, or any other type of book. There is no book-obsessed person I know. No one who is willing to have long extended conversations intirely about books.
The only person I do know lives like 2 hours away, and I can't see her that often.
Every person who I've tried to get into fantasy (Believe me, I've tried! My sister, all my friends, random people...) have not liked it/read one book and stopped/thought I was crazy/ said "I'll read it" and never did.
It is such a...revelation (I think is the word) to come onto these forums and see hundreds of conversations seriously (for the most part!:D) and entirely about books.
So thank goodness for these forums! Half the time I'm on, I am reading old threads with like a source of amazement, like "Wow...there are people here who actually read books like me!"
I wish that there was a person who I knew who was like the people on these forums. Or that I can find such a person. After all, I can't be the only book-obsessed person in my entire town/city/area!
Sigh, life is sad...:(

I'm fine, I just wish she was home. :(
And Criselle, don't worry, you'll find SOMEONE! :) (Well actually... it depends where you live, lol. A big city, definitely there are others out there. A small town with a population of 100... well, maybe not so much luck. haha)

I hope your mom gets better Icelands...
This is a rough time for me as well. My one horse just died friday night and i am all torn up. I cried myself to sleep last night. I can't even walk down my driveway without thinking of the last time I said hey to him... We think he was chased by coyotes as well, mainly because we could see another set of footprints and he was all over the place... even up and down our road (as I found out this morning)...

I hope your mom gets better Iceland. My prays go out to her.
And I'm sincerely sorry to hear that Jess. You told me about it a few days ago, but I kinda was rude/mean and such. I hope it gets better for you, and I hate to hear that you cry at night. Terrible. :(
Best of luck to both of you.
