I did Judaism in Grade 8. Or 9. Can't remember. Well, from what I DO remember:

(1) Yes, Torah's their holy book.
(2) Boys have a Bar Mitsvah when their 13 and girls have a Bat Mitsvah when they're 12 (I think it's 12. Could be 13)
(3) Kosher means good or holy or sanctified. Either one will do, I suppose.
(4) The Star of David is their symbol and is seen on their flag (it's blue and looks like two triangles converged)
(5) They celebrate the Passover (which is when the Angel of Death passed over their homes (the ones with pure lamb's blood on the doorposts). The Angel killed the firstborn son of the Egyptions- the last plague Moses sent to persuade the pharaoh- believed to be Ramses- to let his people go)
(6) Their holy day (Sabbath) is Saturday and not Sunday
(7) They have strict traditions.
(8) There are Orthodox Jews and non-orthodox Jews. I don't know how to distinguish them, though.
(9) They are God's people and many of them are perceived to be rich because God has blessed them.
(10) They have been cast from Israel because they had defied God for a long time. One day (Jews and Christians believe) the Jew will return to Israel. It is said in the book of Revelations (that's in the Christian Bible).
(11) Ummm, they have those funny looking hat things that look like a side of a sphere.
(12) They have been persecuted throughout the ages from the Spanish inquisition to the killing of Jews in England to Hitler. Blessings, ey?

Oh, and there's the Wailing Wall in Israel. Jews go there and pray for the Messiah to come. Christians believe that He has already come (as Jesus).

One other thing: you can practice Judaism but you cannot be a Jew unless you have Jewish blood in you.

I don't watch Home and Away. I find it tedious, but that's just me. I think (from commercials) that some blonde lady who used to be a nurse and is the stalker or something has kidnapped this other brunette and is holding her hostage. Hang on, I think that might have been last week. Who watches commercials, anyway? Sorry, stupid question. :o
