I have a question for a friend ;)
If an author has been asked to write a study - companion guide to go along with a book, what credit / by-line / etc must they give to the original work author. This is not going to formal press, it is actually for church that wants to have a study guide to go along with a book that the pastor is doing a sermon series on. They will just be xeroxing and spiral binding the guide. They are asking for a small donation to offset printing / binding costs.
Any advice will be appreciated.
