Hi. I posted on other threads before writing this, so sorry!
I first picked up The Gift when reading for a national book award scheme in the UK. I got hooked and finished it in less than 24 hours, reading it twice in 2 days.
I even read it under the desk in Chemistry (well when I had finished my work, and everyone was finishing off, but still)! That's pretty unusual for me, as I do pay attention in lessons.
My favourite lessons are: Maths, Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Latin. I don't subscribe to the view that girls shouldn't like the sciences - I love them. I'm also hoping to take Ancient Greek for GCSE - got to make my choices this year. I also love the classics (Latin is not dull!)

Hey dreamer,
You're soooooooooo lucky, I'd love to do Latin!!!!!!!!
My school teaches it but they stoped letting new people learn it a few years ago and as I'm only in year 8 I won't be able to learn it!!!! (I bought a latin/english dictionary + grammar book but it's just not the same)
Anyway, you must be a realy fast reader!
Your reading skills + your favourite electives + your screen name make you out to be a realy nice, me sort of girl.
Welcome to the forum!!!
(hope we dont freak you out too much)
