Just been on a 'tidy-up':

Ladies and gentlemen:

If you look way back in this thread you will see that both Alison and myself have asked very nicely that this thread is to say Hi, but then all chattery is to be taken to the chattery thread. I see that this is something that you seem to have difficulties with.

Can I remind you AGAIN therefore of the purpose of this thread?

Say Hi - Alison's always happy to say Hi back - but then keep the chattery to the chattery threads.

Thank you.

Hi! I'm Lauren! I'm 15 yrs old. I like to dabble in writing and hopefully one day (if i'm talented enough) I'll be able to write for a living. My blog is
http://a-mixed-bag.blogspot.com/ if you want to check out bits and pieces of my stuff. Some of it is finished and some is not. It's just all different stuff. My newest piece is "i am the leader" so if possible I'd love feedback on that particular one.
Anyway I read The Gift roughly when it was first published in Australia and liked it muchly, so much in fact that i recommendded it to my younger sister who loves it, so much that she taxed the book from me! I'll have to go on a trek into her bedroom *eep* to steal it back!
Anyway, Hope to get to know you guys a whole lot better soon

Lauren :)

hello That_Dreamer!

I read "i am the leader" and thought that it was great! You seem able to get such a mysterious feeling across, it was real captivating. Have you ever written anything novel length? I think you should go for it if you have the perspiration.

I bow my head down to you

Hey I read it, too, and thought it was pretty cool. Quite different from most things I've read... the main character obviously had some issues that Freud would have loved to analyze =P.

If anyone here likes reading Harry Potter fanfiction, I'd be pleased if you read mine and left me a review at http://www.fanfiction.net/~firemagus. Or if you want to read my own original fantasy... go here! (http://www.fictionpress.com/~custosmorum) and leave me a review. That would totally be awesome.

Er, yeah, so to keep this to topic: I love writing! I'm just a bit lazy about it sometimes.

Thankyou very much! I have attempted to write fantasy but it just went...bad...I kinda grew out of it. I'm sort of writing scripts at the moment and messing around there. It would be really great if you read some of my other pieces because sometimes (ok, most of the time) I think everything i read is just the same. So if you have any free time it would be awsome. I'll tell you my personal pick of the lot

Twisted Love - I wrote it for a comp and I really struggled with it, it might be bad but I really loved and enjoyed the writing of it and the concepts in it
Scratches - it's unfinished at the moment and i think it might end up being a novel or a very very long short story
Family Inheritance - If anyone on here is a fan of the whitlams (an aussie band) I was inspired by their song blow up the pokies and one of the stories of the orginal memebers (Andy)
Thats my favourite three, not neccessarily the best but my favs if someone could have a squiz at them that would be awsome!

Love to you all!
Lauren :)
