Hellooo!

I'm a Texan whose claim to fame is that she doesn't wear Wrangler jeans or Justin boots and absolutely, undeniably, can'tlivewithout loves her music, and of course, her reading!
Also, I love to write! Am attending a summer dramatic writing session at New York University this summer! Cannot wait. Writing and reading, especially of the fantasy genre, is an escape from my boring hometown and average American lifestyle. Fave modern fantasy authors: Garth Nix, William Nicholson, Alison Croggon, of course!

Ummm...er, is there anything else y'all would like to know?

Oh, yes. I play the harp, which is one reason why I feel so connected with Maerad when I am reading these books. Weird? Mayhaps. I'm afraid I don't have a preference whether or not she ends up with Cadvan. I really enjoy how alison reveals these characters to the reader and how compelling and dynamic they are. And it's really cool how she actually gets to know her audience like this.

But enough of the nerd. Howdy, y'all!
PS: ordered the Crow online today! Cost me a whopping amount of money, well spent I’m sure!

Hello I am Mashka, but you may call me Andy, Sasha or Shoe. Not sure if any one else here is, but I am an Maerad+Cadvan fan (why does the plus sign make me think of that Tristan+Isolde movie?:confused: ) I love music, movies, books (esp. Lord of the Rings trilogy and of course Alison's books, can't wait until I get the second!!!also gotta love CS Lewis' Narnia), history(mainly Romanov history, but I also enjoy reading on the Crusades and pirates, arrrr matey!:D ).
I love to write and draw. I have written one fantasy story called The Shadows that Follow, posted on my message boards(Written In Ink), and I have also written a few poems and am now working on a pirate story, which I share online with my friends through MB posts, email, etc etc etc.
I enjoy musicals (Phantom of the Opera , Wicked and Monty Python's SpamAlot are...well, wicked!), Panic!At the Disco, My CHemical Romance, U2, Josh Groban, Fall Out Boy, Sarah McLachlan, The Fray...the list goes on and on and on... My favourite actours are 1.Orlando Bloom 2.Marton Csokas and 3. Sean Bean. My fav movies are of course Lord of the Rings, Troy,Pirates of the Caribbean;Curse of the Black Pearl, King Kong(the recent one),King Arthur, Kingdom of Heaven, Keeping the Faith, Bedazzled....hehehe.....
Well I could go on and on talking (I love talking about anything!), but I'll stop. Nice to meet y'all!!!
