Is anyone else familiar with this writing coach? He started the Writers Loft out of chicago, and runs an online course which i subscribe to: www.immediatefiction.com . I think hes an amazing teacher, and i give him 90% of the credit for everything i have learned thus far. His book Immediate Fiction is my writing bible.
Anyone else heard of or subscribe to his basic methods?

The language on the home page is a turn off. Slightly more sophisticated than the Home Shopping Channel. Took the sample course. Nothing I haven't seen 100 times before (though I must admit I like the way he recast "Show, don't tell" as "Experience vs. Idea"; makes more sense, is easier to understand).
What sounds interesting, though, is the Coaching and the Marketing Consultation. Any comments on the quality of those?

Not naysaying the man or his course, just seems a lot of money to me...

One thing i will say for him, is every single time i have called (without fail), he has personally picked up the phone and helped me out.
I haven't gotten to the marketing consultation yet, but when i do i'll be sure to give you an update :) .
