Something I noticed in Shaman's crossing

I'm reading it now, and I'm loving it(like all Hobb books), but I can't help to notice the many spelling mistakes. Between pages 350-440(+-) I've noticed more spelling errors than in any other books. Just stupid mistakes like "I" instead of or in addition to "my". Trist's name written as "trust", "it if" instead of "if it". and this I'm reading now "and the tatooed lady whose skin was covered n images"

Sorry if this has already been mentioned.

Anyone else noticed??

It doesn't really bother me, and I don't know why I even brought it up, but.. here it is!

Just read the worst error, haha. she called Trist speck. haha

I very rarely notice spelling mistakes(as I'm not very good at spelling myself) but this just makes me laugh out loud. there was like four or five errors in one chapter alone

Actually, I noticed those too! Unfortunate...

Trist was called Trust, and Spink was called Speck!

The book was awesome, though. Can't wait for the next one.

I preferred some of her earlier work, but she must ask what the hell her editor is doing he should be checking for stuff like that. A simple spell check would have sorted half of those probs out.

Anyone know when the next master piece is coming out.

Apparently Forest Mage comes out sometime in July, I remember reading in a thread. I think that's an Amazon.com date, but it's probably the UK one. It might take a bit longer for a North American release, as usual.

Yeah well considering us Brits have to wait about two months for everything that should make a nice change.

It's not the editor. Someone didn't proof the galleys before it went to print.

Blame it on the publisher doing a shoddy job, not on the author.
