My review of The Thousandfold Thought

Larry
October 27th, 2005, 03:40 PM
I just finished reading the ARC for The Thousandfold Thought (http://www.wotmania.net/fantasymessageboardshowmessage.asp?MessageID=14100 8) and have posted my (mostly) spoiler-free review over at wotmania's Other Fantasy section. I hope Scott doesn't kill me too much for what I did reveal though...or maybe in return, I could still get that first-born? ;)

Very cool, Larry. Very cool.

Said sacrifice has been packaged and shipped priority post. ;)

Well, is said sacrifice autographed and personalized to me? ;)

By the way, do you still use the same email account that you had last year? Need to talk with you about a few matters and seeing how Three-Seas isn't letting me log in right now, I can't PM you there. Or would you prefer PM here?

Same account as before. Have you had difficulty with it?

Not with your email, just with Three-Seas. I can't log in at all without that Debug Error message. Very frustrating, as I cannot even post a link to my review there!

And I'll be emailing you shortly about certain things about the ARC itself that you wanted to know.

Damn you Larry! I guess I'll havee the second review posted.

Do second reviews get signed copies?

Sorry about that Rob! :o I wasn't trying to rush to beat you or anything, only to fit in the reading around a college schedule that includes some papers next week.

But...

Tell ya what - when I see your review posted here, I'll be certain to post a link to it over at wotmania, so others can get a compare and contrast. Fair enough? :D

Sure, give me more pressure! Seroiusly, though that will push me write up a strong review, even more. I'll take a look at yours after I post mine.

Sounds like a deal to me! Although I fully expect yours to be quoted more often and to be linked to via Locus, as it seems y'all have more cache than we do over at wotmania :p

Seriously though, I am looking forward to seeing where we agree and where we disagree about certain elements in those books. One character in particular comes to mind, but I think Scott will kill us if we were to mention that character's final scene (around p. 385-390, I believe) in open, yes? ;)
