Love is admiration without jealousy, faith without blindness, wholeness without complete togetherness that needs no words to confirm it. We hate love, but it is unstoppable. And no one who calls himself human can stay its power, or keep it from entering their heart. Oh, how it is like a stray gale whipping through the cracks of a door!—

Not warm, as this sentiment is expressed, but cold, awakening, refreshing. And when we are swamped with the high waters of affection, washing us and eroding our fragile shores, wearing away our highest walls— when no waters travel the other way towards the horizon which you give but never receive or restore— We plead, love clogging our throats, “No more, no more, no more!”

But really mean, “Love me.”

Wow, Icelands. That actually made me cry. That was so beautiful....I'm serious.

I can't remember the wording of it. I know Cadvan said it. But I'm too lazy to look it up. It went something like this.. (I think, please don't be angry :o)

"Being wise doesn't mean you know everything, it is knowing that you know enough to know that you will never know everything"

Or something like that :L

Cool quotes, people!

Here's a poetic sort of quote I made myself.

It's not that great, but I thought it merited being put up. (It's about unrequited love, btw)

OMG! That was beautiful. Wow.

i haven't had time to read everything so i'm not sure if anybody has put this quote on yet. It's not exactly sentimental or beautiful or anything, but it's what Indik says to Maerad during their swordfighting lessons:
Intelligence is key. You're not strong enough to be stupid. THINK!

As i said, not the best part of the book, but it's kind of a motivational thing that's sharp and to the point. I'd say this in real life.
