"i am not a hero
i am not an angel
i am just a man"
~in her eyes by josh groban
"Don’t give up
It’s just the weight of the world
When you’re heart’s heavy I... I will lift it for you
Don’t give up
Because you want to be heard
If silence keeps you I...I will break it for you"
~you are loved by josh groban

"shoot for the moon and even if you miss....you'll land amoung the stars..."

some good pellinor quotes:
"I suppose," said cadvan after a long silence, "that you would still like some stew?"

"You looked exactly like the Queen Ardina," he said. "It took me by surprise."

of course i love full scenes in the naming/gift: when cadvan scries maerad, when maerad gets angry at cadvan ect... i also love the talks arkan and maerad had. i mjust dont particularly like how she "fell in love" with him but oh well!:D

lol go josh groban, eh?
Personally, I prefer....Sarah Mclachlan, Dido and Jann Arden. I think they're all Canadian, actually. What a coincidence.
S-Taylor had a map
T-Oh, it was a map?
N-Yeah, where is it?
T-Ummm... Not here?
S-How about the GPS?
T-ummm... I ate that too.
C-You ATE the freaking GPS?????

-This is the craziest scene from a class play. It was seriously hilarious.

Ummm....some are on my ff page, but one from a book I read recently (called SKIN by Ted DekKer) is really, really funny!

"What is it with everybody and this chicken thing? We got a dead woman and a dead chicken, but that doesn't mean they're related!" --Luke, from SKIN

Some great quotes I got off a fab site called humorscope.com - check it out!

People who claim they don't let little things bother them have never slept in a room with a single mosquito.

You will narrowly avoid a collision on the sidewalk today, as a small giggling person runs past you, being hotly pursued by a weeping incoherent person waving a ham sandwich. Aside from that, a pretty typical day.

"Some people say that I must be a horrible person, but that's not true. I have the heart of a young boy -- in a jar on my desk." -- Steven King, 3/8/90 :D :D :D :D

Good week to greet everyone with great enthusiasm. For example, "Bob! You're still alive!" (Everyone likes to feel appreciated.)

Hee! :D

I can't remember the wording of it. I know Cadvan said it. But I'm too lazy to look it up. It went something like this.. (I think, please don't be angry :o)

"Being wise doesn't mean you know everything, it is knowing that you know enough to know that you will never know everything"

Or something like that :L

<3 Maerad x x x

I found it! I just read it today! It's "the most wise are those who know how little they know!"

One of my favorite quotes ever does not actually come from the Pellinor books *gasp!* Although many of them do!:D Anyways, it's by Terry Pratchett (Who might just be the second best author in the world, if not tied for first!):

Most of the great triumphs and tragedies of history are caused not by people being fundamentally good or fundamentally evil, but by people being fundamentally people.
~Terry Pratchett

I don't even remember where it was from, but I rememberd it because I thought it was so great.:)

"What's cookin, good looking? Cause something's hot, and it smells good...."

A random sentence from a random boy in my Math Class......made us all erupt into laughter......I'll never forget it.

"I hate you....because you stole my heart."

"And you still have all of me."

--Evanescence
