My Friend said this one:

"Do what makes you happy--some a**hole could kill you tomorrow and then what?"

Another quote from Evanescence (Hello) -

"Hello, I'm still here,
All that's left of yesterday."

I think that's really powerful, and kind of relates to EvaBourne's fanfiction on the Write Your Own Story or Poem thread, and my own, Eternal Torment, which address what Maerad would think if she lost everything.

What's all this about depression? Sounds interesting.

"As the walls are closing in
And the colors fade to Black
As my eyes are falling fast and deep into the sea
and in darkness all that I can see
The frightened and the meek
Are forced to cling to mistakes they knew nothing of
Have mercy on me."

-Black, Sarah McLachlan

My friends think I'm depressed just because of the songs I listen to  but of course, they're still there for me.;)
