I really need to see Doctor Who. I keep meaning to watch it, but I keep forgetting. It sounds really good, though.

Back on topic, I am bored and so will give everyone not all that funny quotes, but so long as they make me laugh, I will call them amusing.:D So, here is my newest list of not-really-funny-but-amusing-anyways quotes.

"Experience is the name every one gives to their mistakes."
Oscar Wilde

"Insane people are always sure that they are fine. It is only sane people who are willing to admit that they are crazy."
Nora Ephron

"Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so."
Douglas Adams.

"We live in an age when pizza gets to your home before the police."
Jeff Marder.

"In the begining there was nothing and God said 'Let there be light', and there was still nothing but everybody could see it."
Dave Thomas.

"Boy, those French: They have a different word for everything!"
Steve Martin.

"Democracy is being allowed to vote for the candidate you dislike least."
Robert Byrne.

"Ever wonder if illiterate people get the full effect of alphabet soup?"
John Mendosa.

Quotes:

You mean, you'll put down your rock and I'll put down my sword, and we'll try and kill each other like civilized people? --Wesley, Princess Bride

I have yet to come up with a reasonable explanation. Untill I figure it out I think I'll play dumb.

Knowledge is power...but power corrupts...and corruption is a crime...and crime doesn't pay...so if you keep on studying you'll go broke!

A bus station is where a bus stops. A train station is where a train stops. My desk is called a work station...

"Hmm... How should I say this? Based on my first impression, I have to say... I hate you."

Seven stars and seven Stones
and one White Tree from over sundered seas
Use well the days
Use well the days
Turn your face to the green world
Use well the days

In space no one can hear you scream.

If you think, you are worth nothing...
Do you know what is nothing?
Everything is nothing!
So... nothing = everything

You are worth everything,
quite simple, ne?

"Who are you to judge the life I live? I know I'm not perfect - and I don't live to be. But before you start pointing fingers, make sure your hands are clean"

“It would seem we are…” A murmured.

“Lost for options?” B suggested.

“In a tight spot?” C added.

“Between a rock in a hard place?”

“In hot water?”

“Verily f*cked,” A answered.

“Ah."

:rolleyes::D

lmao. I shall construct a shrine in this site's honour. One word. Hilarious.

And now that school holidays are over I shall need all the laughter I can get.

OH, right! A quote I found well browsing my msn buddies.

A drunken man's words are a sober man's thoughts!

Tada...*backflip* *SPirit fingers*:D:D:D

I LOVE Princess Bride! My fav quote is:

"My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die."

:D

More quotes from today.

*LW and DN are walking down the hall, LW isn't paying attention to anything.*

DN: So, I heard something the other day, and I want to know if it's true.
LW: Mhmm.
DN: Well, do you love MM?
LW: What? *blinks* Oh, yes, of course I do. Absolutely!

(He really didn't know what he was answering, and when I was told of this, I almost died laughing, and LW was red as a plumb!!! Or is that purple...:D)

You're tormenting the poor boy, MM!  :D

Books to the ceiling,
Books to the sky,
My pile of books is a mile high.
How I love them! How I need them!
I'll have a long beard by the time I read them.
Arnold Lobel

This is not a novel to be tossed aside lightly. It should be thrown with great force.
Dorothy Parker (1893 - 1967)
:D :D

Better to write for yourself and have no public, than to write for the public and have no self.
Cyril Connolly (1903 - 1974)
(For some reason I have always loved this quote)

“People are like stained-glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in, their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within.”-Elizabeth Kubler-Ross
