Everyone Read This Before You Post About Terry Goodkind

All right, folks.

Here is your all-purpose general warning. Chill out. I've been letting this go on hoping you guys would just call it quits and move on as some of you promised to do last Saturday. Guess we were out of luck with that. This is directed at everyone, including kmankevin and cheese, but don't feel like you can ignore this because you're not one of those two.

The name calling will stop....no more "whiners," no more comments about bad spelling (kanin's are at least constructive and not pointed).

The antagonistic posts will stop. kman, if you don't want to discuss the books with people who have not read past book 5, that's fine. All you have to do is NOT push the reply button. You can talk to some people in a thread and not others. No need to say 200 times that people haven't read every word GK has ever written and that they shouldn't be here over and over again. You're not saying anything new, and you're doing it over and over and over again. Cheese, do you really care if kman likes Goodkind? All you're doing is egging him on, while presenting few if any new points.

In short:
Be respectful. If you can't say something on point without being insulting to another member or their position, no matter how much you may disagree, don't post anything at all.

If this crap continues to go on, we'll start issuing strikes pretty liberally. Consider this the warning.

Alright, as you may have noticed we have gutted this forum. The reason is quite clear, despite the very blatant suggestions and warnings (see above) individuals cannot let go. As a result we will now have to make a few things abundantly clear:

When you signed up for this site you agreed to no trolling, baiting and no personal insults or attacks. This forum hasn't followed those few simple rules and has been rife with antagonism and posts that have been inappropriate to say the least. So we are now going to do something which is against the principles set for this website and moderate this forum very stringently. You can express your views positively or negatively but we expect justifications that are on topic. 'Goodkind sucks' whether in post or thread form will be instantly removed. Posts off topic will be removed. Posts that cannot stick to the expected level of decency and respect will be removed. The repeated inability to follow these guidelines will incur a strike. I hope this is all abundantly clear because we are fed up of the nonsense that goes on in this forum and the next option, which was almost taken today, is to just get rid of this forum entirely. The choice is yours.
