Hi guys,

I was wondering if anyone here had read his work. Every book of his has been released to critical acclaim, and I've always wanted to read them. But for a variety of reasons, I have not yet done so.

His take on the legend of King Arthur is supposed to be incredible. And he is now working on a series on the rise and fall of the Knights Templar, which should be even more interesting.

So I wanted to know if Whyte's books were worth getting into? As a Canadian, it's a bit of a shame that I haven't tried even one of them. . .

I haven't read him yet, so many Arthurian series on my to-read list, but if you'll do a search on "Jack Whyte" or "Camulod" or "Dream of Eagles" I'm sure you'll get some results because the series has been mentioned a couple of times in the 5 years that I've been here.

Jack Whyte is a great read. He puts a plausable spin on the Arthurian Legend and it makes you really believe that it could possibly have happened. He has a new book (the second part & last book) coming out any day now, if not already out, about Arthur & Lancalot. I can't wait to pick this book up. All in all, you should delve into this series. It's really good.

They are great books. I have read them all except for the newest one (the Lance Thrower). I would read them agian if I had the time. I like the sound of the Knights Templar series. Cant wait for them.

Hmm..Well I read them quite awhile ago cant remember all the details. I know I enjoyed them though. Their were some parts that seemed unrealistic (would post them but dont want to spoil the book), and sometimes it drags on but overall its a excellent series...I have only read the first three so far and plan to keep on going. Shows Camelot from a different view, which is a good thing.

Yep..They are pretty good..You should probably get the Skystone (the first in the series) from a library. People either love it or think its average, just depends on your fantasy preferences.
