An Invitation:

I have recently been appointed to manager in a currently small MSN community. I have spent the last month adding resources and building an interactive site for the aspiring author.

We now offer a workshop led by Mr. William Alan Reiser, that covers various subjects on the craft. A useful information page that lists everything from where to get published to professional resources... and it needs to grow by your contributions.

So if you are seriously pursuing a career in the industry, please stop by and get involved.

Thanks

Nathan Carter

Dropped by, signed up. Anything I can do to help, let me know... If you are interested in my experiences working in shared universes, for instance my addition to the Star Wars and Jurassic Park stuff (for kids, but still sold way more than anything I have ever done for adults http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/smile.gif ) publishing etc, drop me a mail, I'm on the members list for Writers Association under the same nick.
Cheers
Steve

Nathan, I know that I am a complete computer/internet dunce, but...is opening an msn email account free? The way I understand it, you must have an msn or hotmail account to get a passport, and you must have a passport to join the Writers Association.

Sorry about the stupid question, http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/frown.gif but I am interested in joining. http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/smile.gif

Both a hotmail account and a net passport are absolutely free, I'm not sure if you have to have an e-mail account to obtain a passport, but it might make it easier.

I'll go check it out and try to be of more help

Sounds cool, Nathan. Because of my enormous heart and saint-like good nature, I've signed up and plan to help out. Site looks nice though. Hope it goes well.
