hi all i thought maybe we could start a group/joint story you know where one person starts and the rest follow but to save confusion and drifting maybe we should have some sort of order and a number limit say ten people what do you think.....

i'll go first when we decide wether or not this is a good idea.....

another idea is to have a character each and we write for that character (it has worked on other messageboards) anyway yeah tell us what you think...

Good idea. I reckon anyway. I used to do drawings of this kind in primary school, and boy, the fun we had with it.

We had done this not all that long ago about an Imp. Erebus took on the burden of editing and posted in the short story section.
As I recall it was quite fun.
However there a couple of times people went way off on tangents that were way the holy-son-of-Batman's-pacreas out super left freaking field. However Erebus had moderated quite equitablly and the story survived to make the site.
Any way count me in if you get enough participants

yep they are heaps of fun and yes people do go like totally way out with their ideas at times; but great that you both want in

Hi Guys,

In case any of you are interested, we have a couple of, as yet, unfinished group stories still floating around here in the Writing forum:

The Lost Breed (http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/Forum5/HTML/000172.html)

and... Tales of Baldarr (http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/Forum5/HTML/000254.html)

Maybe some of our fresher faces will have some new thoughts and ideas for these two?

Count me the hell in!

Peppermint - any ideas when this will be starting up?

Erebus - have those two stories died a death or will they picked up and run again?

Sure, I'll play! (And maybe I'll resurrect one or both older stories.) We play this game around the fire when we go camping. Also, I started an email version of an add-on story--I sent out a beginning to five different people, so there are five different versions floating around.

while giving a bit of a boost to those stories would be fun. i think well just start another you know start with a clean slate (if it's ok to do that and erebus(neil) if you don't want to edit it i will i am more then happy to it gives me practice for the future)

SOLAAR-um well lets see maybe in a couple of days

so are we going with an order if so this is what we have so far....

By all means, go right ahead with a new one if you like. It was only a suggestion about the other two anyway. I shall look forward to reading what you start off and try to find the time to contribute as well, though I think editing is out of the question for me this time due to other committments. http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/smile.gif

Solaar, yes those other two stories can still be added to if you like.
