Check out Caitlin's fascinating interview in SFFWorld's Interview section where she gallantly tries to deal with my strange questions. :)

OK - the gallant I'll accept - but not the strange! They were, appropriately enough, fantastic questions. And I'm not just saying that because KatG mentioned me and Homer in the same sentence. ;)

Glad you enjoyed it, Rob!

It was an obvious comparison. :) The interview really did sort of evolve as we went.

Well that was great to read - one of the most entertaining interviews I've read for awhile. :)

Suffice to say both books are now on my to-buy list. Hmm...I suppose the easiest (only?) way for me to purchase them is through Amazon?

Yep. I think Amazon.ca might be marginally faster, since they always have the books in their warehouse. Let me know if/when you get them!

Don't worry I'm guaranteed to come and spout my opinions all over the place heh.

The only impediments to immediate purchasing/reading of books I'm interested in is the size of my (ridiculous) to-read pile, and the length of my to-buy list - but I'll be back eventually!

Great interview, Caitlin! Nice to know even more about what's driven you to write what you've written. By the way, you might want to head over there sometime soon, as your name is already up for a few awards in our annual fan-based awards (and Jake and I will be slowly posting our choices on the OF Blog (http://ofblog.blogspot.com) over the next couple of weeks and I do believe your name shall be mentioned at least once there ;)). :D

And I hope both of y'all don't mind, but I posted a link to this interview over at wotmania. Great stuff here.

Oh my! What a lovely bit of news to wake up to! 3 nominations on your list, plus one on Jake's...delightful. :) I say to everyone else: join wotmania, if you haven't already; vote early, vote often... ;)

That's excellent. I'm proud of the interview, as is KatG; great to get it more publicity! Gracias otra, otra vez, Aldarion.

Fabulous interview, Caitlin! Reading over it is giving me a serious itch to read A Telling of Stars again...but I just moved, so I'm going to have to go digging through boxes to find it!

For those of you considering buying Caitlin's books after reading the interview, DO IT! They're some of the very best fantasy that's out there today. I wrote reviews for both the books on Amazon.ca if anyone cares to look. :)
