I started to read the wheel of time last summer. I just finished the last book now and i have to say it is the best series i have read. I am 15 and today started writing a story based on the wheel of time series i call The Asha'man's story. I don't know if i will publish it but so far it looks good i have written about 5 pages due to the fact that i was in school but it looks good. Again i am 14 and a Freshman in HS and love these books. anybody write back if you want

It's strange, but you remind me of when I was about ten years old and I read "The Chronicles of Prydain" by Lloyd Alexander, a fantasy series that started a life-long habit of reading fantasy with me. I can still remember the enthusiasm I had for those books. http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/smile.gif

Hello, my friend! I am writing a story too, but on my own language - bulgarian, so I have to translate her.

Rand, Welcome. There are MANY MANY Wheel of Time topics on this board. You may want to jump into some of those conversations. This one: Is anyone just worn out on Jordan WOT? (http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/001513.html) is available on this page.

These others are available by clicking on the number in the bottom corner of the page leading to older topics:
Does anyone know the exact number of words in any of Jordan's books? (http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/001448.html)

He's redoing "New Spring" and writing two new ones.

13 sounds like a good number, though he could easily go to 15. The final book is going to be a cracker though. Maybe Jordan thinks he's not ready to write it yet or his characters aren't yet all in the right place for the finale.
