I'm currently listening to "Chris Howard - NLP & Leadership Practitioner Training" and I'm wondering, is this, by any chance, the tape Anasurimbor Khellus(sp?) listened to before they let him out of his training?
Do you study NLP?? , The darkness that comes before(love your book BTW) reminds me so much of NLP, specially the carefully manouvered seduction of "lesser men" or whatever
Please, no spoiler for warrior prophet, which, to my dismay, have failed to magicaly appear on my bookshelf

I've never even heard of NLP before. What is it?

Neurolinguistic Programming. I work with counsellors, some of whom are also hypnotherapists and have trained in NLP. I find it quite....disturbing a practice, and I know people who have come at it from the client perspective who have made me question it further. Certainly something akin to the Logos I reckon.

Well, maybe it is. It's certainly manipulative, but now, after reading much on the topic, and starting to use the techniques, it's very reminiscent of magic.
I feel like a protagonist in a "learning magic" book, leveling up my sensory acuity and subcouncious communication.

not connected to NLP, but did you really make both anasurimbor's look Macchiavellian?
i mean, it's not uncommon, but what both did to Cnauir IMO was very blatant. first, moenghus, using the son, then kellhus, telling canuir that he would kill his dad, when in truth, he's not (well, in the first book anyway). i've only finished book1, so i hope you won't give away anything.
it's not that i feel bad about it, in fact, i love it. cause it's kinda different.
and from kellhus himself, using Cnauir, and Achamian and Serwe at the end. that just makes him more terrifying in a sense.
and also, i just love both kellhus and Achamian. they're probably my most fave all-time now. the reasons are in the book1 thread and fave chars from book1 thread. thanks. :D
