Any other fans? Personally, while I enjoy playing RPGs, etc., I've always thought that the old style adventure games were the best in terms of plot, playabilty, etc.

one of the things that always bothered me about those kinds of games. If you made a mistake you'd have to start the whole game over again. It seemed like it anyway.

Oh yes, they were horribly linear. TheLucasArts games were much better IMHO.
