Any idea how many books Goodkind plans on writing for this series?

Eleven is supposedly the final count for this series. Book ten, Phantom comes out on March 20.

Actually, Terry recently pushed back the relase date to some time in June... The original date was January, then March, now June... so we'll see.

Yeah, I saw that after I posted the March 20th date. Oh well... I can wait.

I know this is an old thread but it asked my question and I was hoping someone could confirm that 11 books is the whole series.

I'm hesitantly considering trying this series out. I have heard so many mixed reviews and it's making me a little gun shy. It would be an easier decision if I knew that the series had an end (or at least a planned one). I'm not opposed to long series. I started the year with Feist's Riftwar books and read everything I could get my hands on. That worked out to about 24 books. :)

The main sequence in the series is completed. I stopped counting after one, so I don't remember how many there are; but, 10 or 11 sounds about right.

xvart.
