ive been wanting to play AD&D in middle earth but nobody i know has any of those kinds of books.

Of course anything done would have to be unofficial since Wizards does not have the rights to the license. That is currently with Decipher, who has put out a LOTR RPG using their own (CODA) system. It is not a strong product in my mind, but as far as official its all you have got.
On the unofficial side there are a number of LOTR RPGs out there. My own www.hither-lands.com remains a promising, albeit unfinished effort that you are more than welcome to check out. I believe the magic system in Hither Lands comes the closest to matching in spirit what Tolkien had intended for Middle-earth.
