:D :D I'm going to check Dymock's or Knox Borders tommorow!!! Im so excited!!!!! Really looking forward to it!! They say never judge a book by its cover but I just had a look at the cover on the Penguin website and I must say it is absolutely stunning and it makes the wait even more agonising!!

Since the book is out in Australia this week, I thought I'd start this thread for those Pellinorites who get their hands on it and want to talk about it. If you just post here, it will be easy for those who don't want the trip over spoilers to avoid it.

In the past year, my growing excitement for the crow has only been placated by the fact that i thought i would be able to buy the book next month cuz i decided to blow a big chunk of my student loan money on a trip to the UK. It was supposed to be this great fun special thing i was going to get to do.. but its not coming until JULY??!! gaargh!

Now i must order it and wait for it to come thousands of miles overseas .. drat.

The only reason i got the Crow early was because i ordered it a couple of weeks ago and hounded the poor people in the bookshop.

Anybody who lives near Tweed Heads NSW should go to the bookshop at tweed mall because i think they have another copy of the Crow.

I am going to put spoiler tags on this anyway so nobody sees the spoilers on this by accident.

THIS HAS ALL THE HUGE PLOTS AND SECRETS SO IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THE CROW DO NOT READ THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My opinions on the Crow - I think the Elidhu Nyanar is probably my favourite so far because i don't really like Arkan or Ardina very much and i wouldn't in a million years have guessed that Irc would be the one who stole the other half of the Treesong from the Nameless One. The description of Sharma's voice was really cool and i thought all the new creatures were excellent. One of the big things i am wondering about is whether Imank is really dead or if he managed to escape Sharma and all the Shika. The idea of making the king of the birds a pelican was really original because in most fantasy books the king is usually and eagle or something like that.
Another thing i didn't expect was the bit about there being two chosen.
All is all the only bad thing in the book(apart from having no Maerad and Cadvan) was Zelika dying, i felt that if she had to die it should of been more dramatic... i just had a thought maybe that was the body of Zelika's sister and Zelika could still be alive(not very likely)
I rated this book 5 stars- one of the best books i've read in a long time.
