From the trailer, this does look promising. Directed by Richard Linkletter:

Looks great. Haven't got around to reading it yet, though I'm a Dick fan.

Having trouble getting excited about this film... It looks great but I'm not that fussed about the story.

My favorite book of all time, and the trailer looks awesome. How lucky am I?

Its my favourite PKD too.

Here's hoping they stick to the original story. A couple of bits already worry me, the 'Everything you do will be recorded' and 'Whatever it is that's watching, it not human'. Could be symptons of Bob's paranoia, but might indicate the focus of the film is going to be more about evil governments rather than drugs.

The trailer looks very stylish, I'll definatly be going to see it.
Although the Keanu voice over didn't fit well - he still sounds like his character from Bill and Ted, not a paranoid government agent. Hopefully he will dig out some of the acting talent he occasionally displays, and it wont be another Jonny Mnemonic.

A diffrerent trailer is here (http://pdl.warnerbros.com/wip/us/med/scanner_darkly/scanner_darkly_a_tlr2_qt_300.mov)
