A guy would dream something and it would change the world and it would be like the change never happened, people would not know the change. He dreamt rain, and then it happened for real, it was raining all the time and it was as if it always did rain before; then at the end he dreamt he was the only human, and everybody went away but himself. The short-story is quite old, I think.
Edit: Something my friend just remembered: He started going to a psychologist, the psychologist started using him, hypnotizing him so that he would dream certain things to change things the way he wanted them to be.
This is the only Ursula K LeGuin novel I've read that I truly like.I love this story.

That is it. Thank you, very much! My friend thought it was a short-story.
I am going to get it soon as I finish some books I already planned to read and currently have. That is going to be my first science fiction book by a female, second book by a female altogether, With Pipe, Paddle and Song by Elizabeth Yates being the first one. :P

Hey, glad to be of help-I actually knew one for a change! Usually people ask about the most obscure stuff, that sounds like 10,000 other things.
