Boris and Julie have been two of my favorites since I was very young. Thanks for those links!

Another great artist IMHO is Simon Bisley who did/does a lot of fantasy and sci-fi artwork for comics like 2000AD.
My avatar is taken from his work.

I've never followed his work closely but I have liked what I have seen.... a lot!

Another top 5 artist for me has always been Michael Whelan. You can view a nice selection of his work at... http://rivendell.fortunecity.com/rhydin/959/whelan.html

And of course there's the classic Frazetta, which Bisely's work has similarities too. Not that he's copying, that's not what I mean, but more in the raw savagery of the art. You get the impression that the universe's that their characters inhabit are in a state of constant chaos. It's very sensual in it's boldness.

I just have to plug this guy...

The Goddess Art Of Jonathon Earl Bowser (http://www.jonathonart.com)

Also...

Art History.cc (http://www.arthistory.cc)

I like this site... be warned that when the Main page has loaded it will open a full screen popup window to actually see the artwork... so you may need to add this to your White Pages in any popup killer software.

Wow, epiloque.net is screwy, every single image didn't show, is that a problem with anyone else?
