I was looking at the SF sections in Waterstones yesterday, and was amazed to find copies of 'Gridlinked' on sale at the special price of 1.50 euro, as part of a special promotion.

Review to follow :)

Ah! There go my royalties ... I look forward to the review.

Gridlinked has shortlisted for the Salamander Award as the best SF book published in Czechoslovakia in 2005. The others are "Flow my tears..." by P.K. Dick, "The Naked God" by Peter F. Hamilton, "Redemption Ark" by A. Reynolds and "Ilium" by Dan Simmons.

Seems they like my stuff there...

Gridlinked review (http://lineofeld.blogspot.com/)

The review isn't very thoughtful, I'm afraid, more some first impressions. It's generally only in hindsight that I really get my head around a book.

Thanks Ouroboros, I think that review is perfectly fine and tells people precisely what they need to know about the book i.e. if you want hugely deep and meaningful then go read a philosophy text book, if you want to be entertained for some hours, then read Gridlinked -- there's deep and meaningful there, but I don't allow it to detract from the mayhem.
