Just found out that the next book in the Wheel of Time series will be named Winter's Heart.
Anybody that knows any more about it?

All I've heard is that its due out in the fall. Where did you hear the title from? I ask because I've heard a few titles for it and am wondering if that's official word you have?

I'm not quite sure where I saw it first, it was at some WOT related website.
Anyway it's now even posted at the Tor website. The title is going to be Winter's Heart, and they plan to publish it in Fall 2000.

Thanks for the info Bilbo. Looks like I'll need to go check out Tor's webpage. Hopefully they'll get some more info up on it soon (if they haven't already).

I heard that there may be 2 or 3 more books after this one coming out this fall. I love the WOT, but there needs to be an end sometime!

Never fear--there will be, just 12 or so years from the time you wrote this.

I heard something big is supposed to happen at the end of Winter's Heart. I can't wait for this book to come out!
Have you guys tried that new series by George R. R. Martin? He's really cranking those books out; I expect his series will be done before WoT.

What's the point of resurrecting this thread, really?

It might be some kind of passive agressive commentary showing that grrm isnt the only one who is slow on the job.
Or maybe he just enjoys bumping old, useless threads.
Or maybe he did it to confuse you. He might be misdirecting your attentions elsewhere while he steals your lunch.
