Thought some of the fellow sufferers here might be able to relate:

I just recently bought one of those 50 pack DVD collections: 50 Movie Pack SciFi Classics-guarenteed 99% cheese- a mysterious cache of Hercules movies included (Hercules is scifi?)

-BUT,
THERE IT IS...

I'm sure for a lot of you there's a movie or TV show from when you were 3,or 4, you saw some scene that bore a hole in your brain, and you never thought you would ever see it again, or know what film it was.
I FOUND IT!!!The scene I saw, maybe when I was 4, was a scene of a woman turning into a starfish creature.
The film is Warning From Space, a Japanese scifi monster film from 1956!

I know it's stupid...but I'm almost in tears...it ultimately takes very little to make me happy... it's made my year.

Now if they would only put Planet Patrol out in some format...;)

LOL. I have been there, so can share a little in that one. I had the same with The Twilight Zone and The Outer Limits original series, which were never fully shown here in the UK. Now I own them all on lovely quality DVD!


Now if they would only put Planet Patrol out in some format...

LATER EDIT: THIS LINK (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Planet_Patrol) says that they are available on Region 0 discs....

£16.99 (that's about $US 25) sounds reasonable to me though.

Alas, it looks like I missed the boat on that one, Hobbit. Most sites are region 2, including the last link.
But I'll keep an eye on eBay for an affordable region 0 (the set's often up to 30 some-odd pounds) -I'm sure it will pop up.
