David Eddings - what is he doing?

Does anybody know what he is doing?
I realise that he has produced a massive amount of literature already with two series and two trilogies but since the (dissapointing) The Rivan Codex , nothing has been released and there is no news to say that anything is planned. Does anybody out there know if he is even still writing (is he still alive?) and if so , when will we see someting new?

DAvid Eddings is now working on a new book, titled "Redemption of Althustrius", or something like that. I think there is information at the Del Rey website. Also there is information about the new book on the Yahoo clubs devoted to him.
Oh yes...it is completly new and has no connection to any of the books he has previously written.

I've read Redemption and it wasn't very good.

Eddings, I think, is rewriting the Belgariad.

Again, and again.

And again.

Really? I actually found it a good read. But I haven't read any of Eddings' other stuff, so I don't know how it compares.

It compares, it compares just alittle too well.

David Eddings is alive and well... now he writes his new series with his wife Leigh. It's called "Dreamers" and it'll be 4 books long. The first one is called "Elder Gods" and it will be published in the August(in UK by "Voyager") and in September(in USA by Warner Aspect).
BTW, IMHO "Althalus" rocks!:D
