Mixtures We Long for

I played the demo of Heroes of Might and Magic V yesterday and came up with the frustrating thought: Why can't there be a mixture of HMM 5 with Rome: Total War? Just imagine your troops of dragons, elves, dwarves, etc. not moved square by square but in a real 3D battlefield like in the battles in RTW. What a game it would be:rolleyes:

I'm sure everyone has this never satisfied fantasy of the perfect game (the sexual hint intended):D

We had a similar thread in the discussion section a few months ago: http://www.sffworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10389 it's surprising how many 'perfect games' would be RTS variants with wider scope. Have you thought about trying LOTR: Battle for Middle Earth 2?
