I am interested in hearing from poets who have in particular, written poetry of a science fiction nature and share some thoughts on the subject.

They cannot scare me with their empty spaces
Between stars - on stars where no human race is.
I have it in me so much nearer home
To scare myself with my own desert places.

I think Robert Frost wrote that about forests and deserts on Earth but that section of the poem can easily be misappropriated by science fiction writers to apply to space and self.

Of course, Robert Frost won't be appearing here in this thread, and I know when I'm beat so I stop at flash fiction. I've heard too much good poetry to know I can't write it well.

Nothing really helpful to add to this topic actually... :o
