Hi! I am curious to know whether anyone else has been reading the Bannedn and the Bannished series by James Clemens. I just finished Wi'tch War and enjoyed every moment. Clemens' characters are rich and varied even if a bit formulaic. I have enjoyed seen a young girl come into her own; a slight twist to the standard.

You must be a brillant person, cdodson. To have selected such a fine book..The characters are multidimentional, the plot is absorbing. And of course I love that strong females direct much of the action and propell the book forward into an exciting climax!! Wow! I hope to meet you some day so we can share readings together...

I've read 3 books from this series and looking to buy the 4th. A brilliant series, I've really enjoyed it :D

I've read all 5 books and I thought they were quite good. I picked up the first one and didn't stop reading the series until I'd finished all of them. Definately a worthwhile read in my opinion :)

Just wondering - is the series complete, or are there just 5 so far?

There are only 5 books in the series, and it is complete. The books are:
Wit'ch Fire
Wit'ch Storm
Wit'ch War
Wit'ch Gate
Wit'ch Star

However, for those who like his stuff, he is currently working on a new series called "Shadow Fall", it is not related to the Banned and Bannished as far as I know.

I recently finished Wit'ch Gate and felt just a little disappointed, considering I enjoyed the previous books so much :(

Has anyone else read this book, and what did you think?

Ohhhhhhh no don't say that about Witch Gate! That is the book I am on and I was hoping it to be something special :(......

Hate to say it but got to agree as far as I can. I read the first in the series and was decidedly unimpressed, though didn't hate it. The series is supposed to improve later, so I'll probably keep going (have the rest in the pile!) but at the moment other books in the pile come well in front of continuing this series.
